Pepperdine University is located in the Santa Monica Mountains along the Pacific and has been twice named the nation's most beautiful campus by the Princeton Review. The University is located in Malibu, approximately 30 minutes northwest of the City of Los Angeles, the second-largest metropolitan area in the U.S.

The total student population is approximately 10,000 students enrolled in the five Colleges and Schools of the University.

Pepperdine was established in 1937 by Mr. George Pepperdine, a businessman, who stressed the desirability of a complete education built on a Christian value system. The University is committed to the basic ideals of the founder and seeks employees who are sympathetic with the goals of Christian education.
